Rocky isn't an expansion team. Rocky has been in the league for 15 years (aprox.).
What were getting is mixed messages from one summer to the next. The plan keeps changing...and now...we've got 4 teams in a common area playing twister with one another.
This is happening because someone took what was never a good idea in the first place and is now altering what they said they would do last summer...into an even dumber idea this summer.
if i am correct.Sylvan is not an expansion team because of the way last year went with them changing from rocky to wca.when they did it that way i beleive they found a loop hole that will allow them to continue as they wish to go AAA.
Rocky on the other hand due to the way things turned out last season will be considered an expansion team.
dont get me wrong im not trying to put anyone down here, this is just the way i understand it.i have a great deal of respect for mr. stephens.
i do also beleive that the stephens family were the only ones around willing to take control of the team when the rest of the old management stepped down.
From what I was told this past season my a credible source is that West Central was splitting into Rocky to be a AA/A team, and that Sylvan Lake was going to put forth a AAA team.
Just what I was told, don't shoot the messenger.
